The viviparous females of Drepanosiphinae are alate.
The antennae have 6 segments, long and with a long processus terminalis (more than 3 times the base).
The rhinaria are oval or round and arranged only on segment III.
The cornicles are thick, light-coloured or pigmented, the cauda knobbed.
Colonies live on Acer.
