Morphology

Medium sized, this ladybird shows pink elytra with a dark suture. However, the color can range from pink to ochre.
The spots are generally roughly rectangular and there are 16 of them. They can be more or less fused.

Diet

They consume large numbers of aphids but also pollen and nectar.

Habitat

It is an arboreal species, often occurring on broadleaves. They regularly overwinter in housing
