Subfamily : Aphidinae

A Palaearctic genus, made up of about 100 species. The morphs of this genus often manifest a pruinosity with short cornicles and a short triangular cauda.

The presence of species on primary hosts (Pyrus, pear, Malus, apple) cause leaf-roll and yellowing.

On secondary hosts, frequently Apiaceae, colonies are located at the stem bases.

Visiting ants come along, both to the primary and secondary hosts.
